UNBOXING
Lead Out! packs the Mini Handlebar Bag in a simple mailer with a couple informational tags attached to the bag itself.
MOUNTING
To make attaching the Mini Handlebar Bag easier, Lead Out! has incorporated three attachment points. On top, there are two quick release buckles that secure the bag to the handlebars. The simple plastic quick release buckles are easy to use and more secure than the typical velcro strap designs. There are also thoughtful details such as extra long strap lengths to accommodate different bikes and elastic strap retainers to hold the excess length cleanly against the bag. To prevent the bag from swaying backward or forward, there is an additional bungee cord with a removable clip that can wrap around the bike. The cord can be attached to two different loops with one more vertical for stems while the lower one is better suited for head tubes.

On In terms of design, the Mini Handlebar Bag has a number of details that improve the usability and functionality. On the right side is a zippered compartment that is ideal for keys or small valuables. The full length top horizontal zipper has an elastic band attached to the zipper pull that makes it easier to operate when wearing gloves. Our favorite detail is the contrasting interior which uses a bright orange and durable micro-grid ripstop nylon material. As with other bags such as the Topeak Burrito Pack, the bright color makes it easy to see all the contents. There is an additional flat mesh divider to help secure smaller items inside the bag as well. Additionally there are two loops on either side of the exterior that are well sized for carabiners or small lights.
